Terms and Conditions

All contracts will be subject to these terms and conditions and are governed by English Law.

Orders

If you order online, you will receive an automated acknowledgement of your order, after payment of the deposit.  Please state in the ‘Order Notes’ how you prefer us to contact you so we can discuss your requirements and confirm your order.  If for some reason we cannot fulfil your order we will immediately take action to refund your deposit back to you.

Deposit Payment

If you have paid a deposit, and we have confirmed your order, we will either supply from stock or let you know the likely time to complete your watch.   We will contact you once your watch is ready for the final payment, before we arrange delivery of your watch.  Your deposit will secure your watch for 4 weeks after notification to you that your watch is ready.  If you chose to not pay the remaining balance, your deposit may be returned less the charge we must make to cover the personalised aspects you agreed we would undertake on your behalf.

Cancellations

If you change your mind for any reason after paying us, please contact us to discuss your issue.   Should you decide not to purchase the watch, we reserve the right to retain an element of the deposit.   This is due to supply and manufacturing costs we incur and items personalised that we cannot re-use or must hold on stock.  This fee is £250.

Change of Heart

Carrington Smith will of course accept returns for up to 30 days after you have received the item.  To return a watch after we have personalised and delivered it, please email info@carringtonsmith.com or phone 07503152088 within 30 days, to discuss your return and obtain a returns code.  Your watch must be unworn and in the condition you received it in from us, with all accompanying packaging, paperwork etc.  Once we have received your watch we will inspect it, and refund your original payment.  We reserve the right to deduct £250, due to supply and manufacturing costs we incur for items personalised that we cannot re-use or must hold on stock.

Faults

Your watch is covered by our 5 year warranty against manufacturing and material defects from when the original owner first received the watch.

Obviously we cannot include wear and tear, improper use, improper repair or damage in this warranty.  If you return your watch to us with any non warranty issues, we will of course seek to repair it or replace damaged items and hold repair stock to undertake this service, including re-casing, crystals, movement repair or replacement, dial and hands replacement.  There will be a fair charge for this service, which, once we have inspected the watch, we will agree with you before undertaking any work.  For servicing or repair, please return your watch in the travel case provided or contact us for suitable packaging which we will send out to you.
